The Chicago Desk by Blu Dot:
Now that we have our gorgeous new Eames desk chair (a Christmas present from the in-laws), I feel that our tiny desk is looking tired and sad.
I like the cantilevered desktop of this one, along with the deep cubbies to hide the stuff that Bri currently scatters about the desktop. I also like the philosophy behind Blu Dot. The company was started by three college friends trained in architecture and art with the belief that design should be affordable. Hence, the Chicago desk is a mere $549 (cheap compared to a very similar desk by Offi, for $1599)

I'm not sure when you added it but I like your flicker thing!
Wes just wants this desk because he could put all my stuff in the "deep cubbies" and I would never find them ever again. I know this is true because when I said it he cackled in an evil way. Really. It was unlike any of his laughs I have heard before. He is a manic, evil cleaner.
Oh man, what an outstanding desk, although if what Bri says is true and if you have a similar cleaning personality to me you'll never get any work done. All energy will be expended on managing the cubbies: cubby one- places with penguins. Cubby two- places with cute marsupials. Cuppy three- catalogs/ photos of fine examples of the cobbler's art. And so on...
It is true, I do want this so I can hide:
1) Bri's stacks of papers that really just need to be thrown away
2) baby penguins
3)Gertie, the Chihuahua
